In the 2018-2019 season, AEK played in Pre League. In the same category that season, both Panathinaikos and PAOK played, having all three teams very strong rosters. Only two teams, however, could promote to the Volley League, one as Pre League champions and one through play offs. PAOK finished first in the regular season. The second Panathinaikos and the third AEK were faced in the "finals" of the play offs. Panathinaikos with 2-0 victories promoted to Volley League.

Angeliki Kavvadia played for the first time with AEK in the 2018-2019 season. She was the main Middle-blocker and played in almost all the games of the season having a consistently good presence.

This jersey was worn in several games that year even though it was the team's second jersey. Its color was inspired by the colors of Byzantium while as many groups applied it had the Greek points on the right side.

Τη σεζόν 2018-2019 η ΑΕΚ αγωνίστηκε στην Pre League. Στην ίδια κατηγορία εκείνη τη σεζόν έπαιζαν και ο Παναθηναϊκός αλλά και ο ΠΑΟΚ, έχοντας και οι τρεις αυτές ομάδες πολύ δυνατά ρόστερ. Μόνο δύο ομάδες, όμως, θα μπορούσαν να ανεβούν στη Volley League, η μία ως πρωταθλήτρια Pre League και μία μέσω play offs. Ο ΠΑΟΚ τερμάτισε πρώτος στη regular season. Ο δεύτερος Παναθηναϊκός και η τρίτη ΑΕΚ βρέθηκαν αντιμέτωποι στους «τελικούς» των play off. Ο Παναθηναϊκός με 2-0 νίκες πήρε την άνοδο.

Η Αγγελική Καββαδία αγωνίστηκε για πρώτη φορά με την ΑΕΚ τη σεζόν 2018-2019. Ήταν η βασική κεντρικός και αγωνίστηκε σχεδόν σε όλα τα παιχνίδια της σεζόν έχοντας σταθερά καλή παρουσία.

Η φανέλα αυτή φορέθηκε σε αρκετά παιχνίδια εκείνης της χρονιά παρότι αποτέλεσε τη δεύτερη φανέλα της ομάδας. Το χρώμα της ήταν εμπνευσμένο από τα χρώματα του Βυζαντίου ενώ όπως πολλές ομάδες εφάρμοζαν είχε στη δεξιά πλευρά την ελληνική σημεία.
