Panserraikos was founded on May 31, 1964, when it was officially decided to merge two Serie A teams from the Second National Division, Apollon Serres and Iraklis Serres. Ο Πανσερραϊκός ιδρύθηκε στις 31 Μαΐου του 1964 οπότε και αποφασίστηκε επισήμως η συγχώνευση δύο σερραϊκών ομάδων της Β' Εθνικής Κατηγορίας, του Απόλλωνα Σερρών και τον Ηρακλή Σερρών. Το 2019 βρήκε την ομάδα, παρά την ένδοξη ιστορία του στο ελληνικό ποδόσφαιρο, να αγωνίζεται στη Γ Εθνική. Στα μέσα της σεζόν 2019-2020 ο Πανσερραϊκός παρουσίασε την επετειακή εμφάνιση των 55 χρόνων της ομάδας. Απόλυτη συμμετρία με κόκκινο και λευκό, ρετρό έμβλημα και λογότυπο στο πίσω μέρος της φανέλας που αναφέρει «1964-2019 55».
